After equipment installation, Conair provides industry leading aftersales support via their Parts, Service, and Industry 4.0 offerings to ensure our customers Make Every Pellet Count! Role The Parts Specialist promotes the sale of and identifies replacement parts for customers. The Parts Specialist is the "go-to" person for complex part identification issues, on current and legacy equipment. They also serve as a guide for customers by communicating opportunities in related parts, kits, and other support services. For example, this role makes inventory recommendations within a specific product line to ensure that there is sufficient stock to satisfy customer requirements while also allowing for high inventory turns. While focusing on a few product lines, the Parts Specialist is capable of providing support across all segments. This position reports to the Spare Parts Manager and is located in Franklin, Pennsylvania. Key Responsibilities Process parts orders received via phone, chat and email. Utilize your knowledge of Conair staff and processes to expertly expedite orders. Provide insightful documentation within your product line to optimize future order entry via first call response and/or internet order entry - including parts catalog and parts Internet site maintenance. Set an example in maintaining a constant positive attitude and professional manner when conversing with customers, sales reps and vendors; Build strong relationships with customers that bring them back to Conair. Participate in 24-hour Parts hotline program by being in the on-call rotation. Continuously cross-train among all product lines and provide valued training to others in your specific product lines. Adeptly communicate with Purchasing, Shipping, Project Managers, Sales and others to identify needed parts and facilitate optimum customer support. Work with Engineering, Service and Product Managers to give insight into implementing improvements within their product lines. Provide market insight regarding pricing decisions; Take the lead in pricing and discounting decisions in your product line(s). Interface with Purchasing to maintain optimal inventory stocking levels to achieve customer satisfaction, high inventory turns, and low obsolescence while reducing inventory carrying costs.
