The job includes varying amounts of general mechanical applications as listed below. Job duties will vary each day and a vast knowledge of strip and paint processes between the hangars is essential.  </p>\n<p><strong>Essential functions  </strong></p>\n<p><em>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.  </em></p>\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Notify Manager/Director in advance of shift starting if unable to work for any reason. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Overseeing the processes of prepping and painting aircraft per manufacturers maintenance manuals. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Sanding, priming, painting and detailing of aircraft. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Training of individual team members to ensure quality and safety standards are met. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Scheduling with parts department to ensure necessary materials required to complete the jobs are available. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Paint shop quality control to include buying off of all processes. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Delegation of maintaining the premises of the paint shop and work facilities in a clean and orderly manner. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Many duties of the Paint Shop Lead may be delegated by him to qualified subordinates as deemed necessary; however, such delegation does not relieve the tech of the overall responsibility. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Any other job-related duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor or Director. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Skills and Abilities:</strong>  </p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Ability to use Air equipment, polisher, and sander. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Stripper pump, electrostatic paint guns, pressure posts, and laser level. </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Being a self-starter who is highly motivated with strong initiative </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>A valid driver's license approved for airline travel  </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Must have regular attendance and be able to work overtime when needed and potentially work alternate shifts as determined by aircraft schedules and manpower needs.  </p></li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and maintain a rapid pace.
