We&#39;re a vibrant waterpark dedicated to providing exhilarating experiences to our guests. As an integral part of our team, custodians play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facility.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:12.0pt;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\"><strong>LOCATION:</strong> Primarily stationed at the Hattiesburg Zoo and seasonally stationed at Serengeti Springs Waterpark.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:12.0pt;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\"><strong>SUMMARY:&nbsp;</strong>This position requires a proactive approach to cleanliness, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:12.0pt;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\"><strong>&nbsp;DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br>&nbsp;&bull; Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the waterpark, including but not limited to:<br>&nbsp;&bull; Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors<br>&nbsp;&bull; Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, changing rooms, and shower areas<br>&nbsp;&bull; Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners<br>&nbsp;&bull; Wiping down surfaces such as countertops, tables, and benches<br>&nbsp;&bull; Refilling soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers<br>&nbsp;&bull; Notes and reports and building components in need of repair.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Makes minor repairs such as painting, patching, replacement of light fixtures, and filters as required.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Makes daily inspection of areas of responsibility before meeting with manager or supervisor.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Monitor and maintain cleanliness standards in all areas of the waterpark, including pools, slides, dining areas, and walkways.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Assists other facility personnel as directed.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Carries an operational two-way radio or pager at all times.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Advises manager or supervisor immediately of any damages resulting from an event.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Assist with setup and breakdown for special events, parties, or other functions held within the waterpark.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Performs other duties, functions and special projects as assigned by the manager or supervisor.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS<br>&nbsp;Education and Work Experience&nbsp;</strong><br>&nbsp;&bull; Two years experience with cleaning of a public assembly facility or a related industry. Formal training in current janitorial procedures and practices preferred.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Combination of education/experience may be evaluated.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong><em>&nbsp;Essential Job Qualifications</em></strong><br>&nbsp;&bull; Must retain a valid Driver&rsquo;s License and meet the eligibility requirements to drive while conducting company business.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Must have transportation for required travel.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Able to see well enough to read fine print such as labels.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Able to speak and hear well enough to converse in person and on telephone.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Body mobility and stamina to bend, squat, lift, reach, carry, stand and walk for long periods of time.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Must be able to lift up to 20lbs.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Sufficient manual dexterity to operate small tools.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Tolerance to work under adverse conditions such as among dust, dirt, and cleaning agent odors and outdoors in heat and cold.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Must be able to follow instructions.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Perform routine and repetitive tasks without immediate supervision.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Read and write.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Perform routine and repetitive tasks without immediate supervision.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow staff and facility users</span></p><p style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:12.0pt;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
