          "text": "<p><strong>*** This position is contingent upon contract award ***</strong></p><p>Overview</p><p>SOSi is seeking a Data Scientist III to support cybersecurity data science and enrichment activities in alignment with our customer. This role is responsible for applying data science, machine learning, and data engineering techniques to enhance enterprise security monitoring, detection, threat hunting, user and entity behavior analytics, and data correlation services supporting cyber defense operations.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>·&#xa0; Develop and apply data science, machine learning, and analytical models to support cyber defense operations</p><p>·&#xa0; Support security monitoring, threat detection, threat hunting, and User &amp; Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) through data enrichment and modeling</p><p>·&#xa0; Examine and correlate data from multiple disparate sources to generate insights into threats affecting the enterprise</p><p>·&#xa0; Define input/output requirements, data workflows, and completion criteria for products, data, and deliverables supporting other teams</p><p>·&#xa0; Support development and integration of data engineering pipelines, automation workflows, and analytical outputs</p><p>·&#xa0; Apply programming and data analysis techniques using Python, JSON, C++, Java, R, or Scala</p><p>·&#xa0; Support deployment and operation of solutions using Kubernetes and Docker</p><p>·&#xa0; Support integration of cyber data models with SIEM and SOAR platforms</p><p>·&#xa0; Apply MITRE ATT&amp;CK and MITRE D3FEND concepts to support cyber analytical use cases</p><p>&#xa0;</p>",
