The duties include day-to-day administration of back-of-house (BOH) retail operations, i.e. product shipping, managing records, merchandising, and general store support. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What’s in it for You:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Base hourly rate of <strong>$22/hr</strong> plus other perks</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health and dental plans</li>\n <li>Discounts on the newest wireless technology​</li>\n <li>Great employee referral program​</li>\n <li>Ongoing continuous training (online and in classroom) to support your personal and professional development​</li>\n <li>Local, regional, and national career growth opportunities </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>A day in the life as an Operations Associate:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with with a variety of administrative tasks such as store audits, and supplying ordering such as uniforms and business cards</li>\n <li>Innovating, refining & maintaining an efficient inventory control system</li>\n <li>Optimizing inventory visibility and maximizing inventory turnover</li>\n <li>Analyze inventory reports and make recommendations for improvements</li>\n <li>Plan and execute inventory counts and create clear execution plans with follow-up as needed</li>\n <li>Manage Live Demo Units and Fixed Assets for the store</li>\n <li>Be proficient in all technology and systems at the store </li>\n <li>Execution of shipping, receiving and general production </li>\n <li>Work closely with the reverse logistics team to facilitate product replacements and trade-ins</li>\n <li>Effectively implements planograms in order to optimize the store’s promotion and sales of wireless devices, tablets, accessories, home theatre systems, appliances, and services</li>\n <li>Maintain integrity of the Samsung Brand at all levels</li>\n <li>Lead compliance with all company policies and procedures including loss prevention and inventory management protocols</li>\n <li>Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Operation Leadership team and General Manager/Store Manager</li>\n <li>Manage store build deficiencies through Service National</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Who we are looking for:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communications skills, verbal and written </li>\n <li>Relevant experience in retail operations administration </li>\n <li>1-3 years of experience in retail, and/or multi-unit operations </li>\n <li>Good organization and analytical skills </li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail </li>\n <li>Effective time management skills </li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment </li>\n <li>Self-starter </li>\n <li>Some experience with Microsoft Office Suite</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Status:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>This position is for an existing vacancy at the Metrotown Samsung Experience Store.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>If this sounds like you and you're excited to become a member of our team, apply now!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We thank all interested applicants; however, only qualified candidates will be contacted.
