Accurately record verbal and telephone orders from physicians in the patient record. • Communicates openly and effectively with all members of the healthcare team. • Participates in supervising student sonographers, training, and orienting new sonographers, directing daily workflow, participates in quality and safety initiatives, and acting as a department super user. • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.</p>\n<p> <strong>Other Related Functions </strong>• Assist in transporting of patients. • Follows established standards of practice for image processing and interpretation. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education/Training </strong>Depending on assigned department, meets education/training as required under established current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) guidelines. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Licensure/Certification </strong></p>\n<p>• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification. </p>\n<p>• Must maintain one of the following: </p>\n<p>• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in fetal echocardiography; or </p>\n<p>• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); or </p>\n<p>• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); or • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); or </p>\n<p>• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI</p>",
