    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span>:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures that the facilities are adequately equipped and members of staff are properly trained and instructed in their areas of responsibilities.</li>\n<li>Submits requisition orders to the Director of Operations (DOO) for supplies and equipment, which are deemed necessary for the effective and efficient operation of the airport Fire and Rescue Services.</li>\n<li>Performs inspections of all areas of the RFFS Unit.</li>\n<li>Responds to all airport-related emergencies.</li>\n<li>Visits buildings and aircraft within the aerodrome area for familiarization, and give advice on Fire prevention and suppression systems.</li>\n<li>Supervises water aerodrome, rescue and fire fighting services</li>\n<li>Coordinates training for recruit Fire Fighters.</li>\n<li>Evaluates performance of Firefighters and makes necessary recommendations for performance improvement, training, promotion etc.</li>\n<li>Coordinates and facilitates education awareness programmes in fire prevention with various agencies including schools, business organizations etc.</li>\n<li>Visits and investigates the scene of all fires to collect evidence and determine the cause of the fire; reports finding to the Director of Operations.</li>\n<li>Updates records and maintains a filing system for the station; researches and compiles data for report preparation.</li>\n<li>Make recommendations to the DOO on possible ways and means of improving the fire service; and also replacement of equipment and appliances.</li>\n<li>Performs routine airport fire fighting duties at BVIAA.</li>\n<li>Prepares monthly report regarding RFFS activities and submits to the Director of Operations.</li>\n<li>Prepares budget reports on an annual basis and submits to the Director of Finance.</li>\n<li>Prepares RFFS operations annual report and submits to the Director of Administration.</li>\n<li>Performs all other duties as assigned by Senior Management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field</li>\n<li>Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a management role</li>\n</ul>",
