    "description": "<p>Attend to customers and cleaning of retail store.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Must be minimum of 19 years of age</li>\r\n\t<li>Follow company safety standards and report issues.</li>\r\n\t<li>Help customers with purchases, finding items, and so forth.</li>\r\n\t<li>Create a customer friendly atmosphere through attitude and actions.</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete cashier and other customer service activities for customers.</li>\r\n\t<li>Clean store, bathrooms, outside grounds as needed and directed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Stock coolers, shelves, and consumable items as needed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in fuel spill clean-up as needed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Follow all company policies and procedures.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in completion of required paperwork as directed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Close and balance registers and report any variance to Manager.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in inventory management processes as needed including stocking items, inventory counts, and product checks.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in food preparation (Champs Chicken)</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure hot food items are prepared and delivered according to company standard.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Frequent work around fuel and fuel pumps, around moving vehicles, in parking lots, and on outside grounds.</li>\r\n\t<li>May work in hot or cold environments.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Able to stand for extended periods of time.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to move freely around work location (internal and external).</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to push or pull equipment and items.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to lift up to 25 lbs.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to move about office/store setting to complete responsibilities.</li>\r\n\t<li>Frequent use of phone, computer, store, and office equipment.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Strong verbal communication skills.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to learn company systems and processes.</li>\r\n\t<li>Adheres to the company&rsquo;s values and ethical expectations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to effectively multitask.</li>\r\n\t<li>Strong customer service focus.</li>\r\n\t<li>High integrity and ethics and trustworthy in cash management.</li>\r\n\t<li>Basic math skills for accurately delivering change to customers, and inventory counts.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>High School Diploma/GED.</li>\r\n\t<li>One or more years experience in retail operations or a related field.</li>\r\n\t<li>Experience with Point of Sale and Time Collection systems.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Other Duties</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
