This role includes verifying shipment accuracy, organizing inventory, packaging products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures to support smooth warehouse operations.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load and unload products from delivery trucks and containers.</li><li>Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and invoices to ensure accuracy.</li><li>Organize, stack, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations to maintain order and optimize space.</li><li>Package and label products for shipment according to company standards.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including work areas and equipment.</li><li>Report any damaged or missing inventory to the Warehouse Manager promptly.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report mechanical issues as needed.</li><li>Assist with other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned by management.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent.</li><li>Proven experience working in a warehouse environment preferred.</li><li>Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts safely (preferred).</li><li>Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand or walk for extended periods.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment and Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Work is performed in a warehouse environment, often involving exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.</li><li>Requires frequent lifting, bending, walking, and standing.</li><li>Must adhere to safety guidelines to minimize hazards.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p><p>This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
