At Healthvision, our approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, innovation, and dedication — values that shape everything we do.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Te Mahi | About the Role</span><br>This is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am–5.00 pm), with occasional weekend work and regional travel as required.</p>\n<p><br>In this role, you will lead, mentor, and motivate a team of friendly, experienced nurses and caregivers to meet key performance indicators of quality care. You will have a positive attitude and mindset towards service user-directed and holistic care, and be able to identify, plan, and implement improvement-focused actions that meet the individual needs of our clients.</p>\n<p><br>We are looking for an experienced nurse with leadership and management experience, ideally with an interest in working in the community setting.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Auckland (Greenlane) with national responsibilities<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and manage day-to-day operations and clinical governance for Community Nursing team(s), ensuring high-quality, safe, service-user focused care across 7 days</li>\n<li>Coach and develop staff through induction, competency monitoring, feedback and performance development</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with legislation/standards, robust risk management, and effective complaints/incident and quality systems (including audits and quality plans)</li>\n<li>Drive service improvement and growth by supporting new initiatives/contracts and undertaking impact analysis for change</li>\n<li>Champion Te Tiriti commitments, culturally safe practice, and Health &amp; Safety/IPC across the service</li>\n<li>Providing operational general business and clinical management and leadership to designated team(s)</li>\n<li>Approaching the service user’s needs with a strong focus on rehabilitation, would care and therapies in partnership with MDT and family</li>\n<li>Undertakes day to day operational management of the designated team(s), giving clear direction and monitoring performance</li>\n<li>Maintaining and assessing care, goals, risks, and service needs of the service user in conjunction with MDT and family</li>\n<li>Providing clinical report and updates as required</li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with sector standards and legislation</li>\n<li>Liaising with family and health professionals in a professional and timely manner</li>\n<li>Participating in quality improvement programmes, service audits and evaluations</li>\n<li>Undertaking comprehensive impact analysis when managing change or developing new opportunities</li>\n<li>Proactively supporting the integration with other clinical services identified for the client in conjunction with Family and Team Manager<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The ideal candidate will have: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years’ post‑registration experience in acute, surgical, or practice nursing, with demonstrated capability in specialist clinical areas relevant to community nursing</li>\n<li>Experience in community care, or a strong understanding of community models of care, ideally including familiarity with ACC Community Nursing contracts and service delivery expectations</li>\n<li>Strong clinical expertise including acute and chronic wound management (wide product knowledge), and ideally experience in burns management and urinary catheter care (SPC/IDC), with confidence managing complex/serious injury presentations</li>\n<li>Current NZ Registered Nurse registration and Annual Practising Certificate (APC)</li>\n<li>Strong leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure</li>\n<li>Excellent organisation and time management skills</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Health &amp; Safety at work and Home &amp; Community Support sector standards is preferred</li>\n<li>Strong written and oral communication skills</li>\n<li>A valid NZ driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle, clean Police clearance, and legal right to work in New Zealand.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ki te huanga | Benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Join a values-driven organisation making a meaningful difference in people’s lives</li>\n<li>Benefit from ongoing supervision, support, and professional development</li>\n<li>This position comes with a car allowance per annum</li>\n<li>Access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)</li>\n<li>Birthday Leave</li>\n<li>Opportunity to expand your skill set and advance your career</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hiahia | Interested?</span><br>If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and ready to take the next step in your leadership journey, we would love to hear from you.<br></p>",
