SUMMARY: The Manager, Program Management, is responsible for managing complex, high-impact enterprise programs and projects from planning through delivery, aligning delivery outcomes to the Firm's strategic objectives. The role manages a defined segment of the Firm's portfolio across both business and technology domains, establishes delivery plans and standards, and ensures consistent governance, status transparency, and risk management, including informed prioritization and capacity tradeoffs across the assigned portfolio. Own and manage a defined segment of the Firm’s portfolio, providing delivery leadership across technical and non‑technical initiatives aligned to established enterprise priorities. Ensure program, portfolio, and project execution aligns to enterprise strategy, partnering with executive, functional, and program sponsors to support agreed‑upon objectives, sequencing, and outcomes. Establish and execute operational plans for assigned portfolio or program areas, setting expectations and decision frameworks and implementing defined standards, processes, and operating cadences to drive consistent execution. Execute delivery governance and controls, ensuring appropriate oversight, issue management, and decision‑making throughout the delivery lifecycle. Ensure development and maintenance of integrated delivery artifacts, including plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports, through assigned delivery teams, enabling transparency and informed decision‑making. Oversee portfolio‑level tracking and reporting, holding teams accountable for timely, accurate reporting and driving adoption of approved tools, metrics, dashboards, and reporting practices to support performance management and executive visibility. Actively manage stakeholder relationships and expectations, serving as a primary point of contact with key stakeholders and the EPMO. Serve as an escalation point for delivery teams, making or facilitating resolution decisions related to risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery challenges. Assess and approve work schedules and task assignments; remove blockers and address resource constraints through staffing adjustments, prioritization, and escalation when necessary. Apply and reinforce dependency management practices, partnering with business and technology teams to address cross‑team and cross‑portfolio dependencies. Facilitate cross‑functional forums, including planning sessions, portfolio reviews, gate reviews, retrospectives, and problem‑solving discussions to support alignment and progress. Manage and lead problem-solving and dispute resolution meetings and act as a mediator, guiding stakeholders to solutions. Drive delivery effectiveness and continuous improvement by reviewing performance trends and implementing approved process improvements within the assigned portfolio scope. Provide direct people leadership for assigned team members, including goal setting, prioritization, coaching, mentoring, and performance management, while also serving as an informal coach or mentor to peers and other team members beyond direct reporting relationships. Mentor and coach project and program managers to strengthen delivery discipline, facilitation skills, and best practices. Coach teams on managing delivery data in Azure DevOps so that work can be aggregated into a portfolio view; define and train on backlog item best practices and core portfolio roles (e.g., Product Owners, Delivery Team members, Scrum Masters). Reinforce established organizational standards for retrospectives, velocity tracking, sprint goal alignment, and backlog health; use trend analysis to support enterprise-level improvements. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree and 8 - 15 years of working experience in Leadership and Management or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must have Leadership and Management experience in one of the following areas: Operations, Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Training, Management Consulting, Shared Services, Change Management, Project Management, M&A Integration. Experience in multiple areas is preferred. Master’s degree / MBA preferred. CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Agile certification or Six Sigma certification is preferred. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Occasional travel may be required consistent with the Firm’s Office Occasional Policy.
