    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Prep Cook is an essential role of Camp Harvest and Cultivate Churches Ministry whose mission is to create life-changing experiences through extended trips and intentional relationships rooted in Jesus, focused on worship, teaching, encouragement, adventure, and rest. This position reports to the Head Cook and is responsible for assisting head cooks, by preparing ingredients, making side dishes and salads ready for special events and regular meal service.  This role is primarily seasonal with occasional opportunities throughout the off-season.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Essential Roles &amp; Responsibilities: </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Maintain safety and cleanliness standards for department by following all standard operating procedures to conform to local, state, federal and insurance regulations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Follow the prep list created by a lead cook to accomplish duties in a timely manner</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they are organized and easily accessible</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Ability to follow recipes by ensuring the proper measurements of ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees and other menu items assigned</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash and other kitchen tasks assigned</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Ensure all food and other items are stored properly per food code</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Prepare ingredients to use in cooking, which may include chopping, peeling, and cutting using kitchen equipment and utensils</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Perform other duties as assigned</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Educational Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Less Than High School: Work permit is required if applicant is under 18 years of age</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Work Experience Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant is preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Knowledge of basic cooking techniques</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Other Skills and Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Willing and able to follow directions with a good attitude</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Ability to explain “What Cultivate Churches Ministry believes”</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Ability to pray with other employees or guests </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Actively engaged in a local church </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Ability to work in a team</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Good communication skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Physically able to be on feet for a full shift</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Ability to anticipate needs and be proactive</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px\">Ability to take initiative to complete tasks independently</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>",
