The Diverse Learning Team at KIPP Columbus provides crucial services to students with disabilities.  In this role, educators provide specially designed instruction in small groups to students on their assigned caseload while also teaching content specific materials. The SLC (CC) Intervention Specialist will teach core curriculum and social-emotional learning curriculum to students with low-incidence disabilities in a small group setting, consistent with state standard, with the support of a paraprofessional. Specialized Learning Classroom Intervention Specialists in K-12 schools in Ohio play a critical role in supporting students with diverse learning needs.  Summary of responsibilities include, but not limited to: Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with low-incidence disabilities Adapt and modify curriculum to support students with diverse disabilities in general and special education settings.
