    "description": "<p><span>Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization.  We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders to empower the students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p>We currently openings for Full-Time, Licensed Behavior Specialists for our Shamokin Location.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our Shamokin Campus is located at:</p>\n<p>115 S. 7th St.</p>\n<p>Shamokin, PA 17872</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB GOAL</span></p>\n<p>This position seeks a passionate and dedicated Licensed Behavioral Specialist to work in our schools.  You will be essential in helping our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct assessments such as VB-MAPP, EFLs, AFLS, etc.</li>\n<li>Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans based on assessments.</li>\n<li>Provide direct support to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder.</li>\n<li>Provide modeling, guidance, and feedback to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Autistic Educational Support Staff (AESS) in the delivery of intervention packages.</li>\n<li>Work closely with Teachers and other professionals to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to student support.</li>\n<li>Gather data and adjust interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.</li>\n<li>Attend weekly meetings with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Program Administration to notify stakeholders of issues impacting student progress and overall care.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge and deep understanding of behavior analytic interventions.</li>\n<li>Document all services provided, student progress, and other relevant information in accordance with Behavioral Health Associates policies and legal requirements.</li>\n<li>Respond positively to supervision and suggestions for improvement.</li>\n<li>Employ restorative practices throughout the school community.</li>\n<li>Work to stay current in subject and content area of instructional techniques and the field of ABA.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by administration.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, School Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited college or university, required.</li>\n<li>Behavior Specialist License, required.</li>\n<li> Minimum 1 year of experience conducting FBA's, familiarity with common assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, EFLs, AFLS, etc.), and developing/implementing behavioral support plans for individuals under 21 years of age.</li>\n<li>Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff and leadership team, while maintaining professional boundaries.</li>\n<li>Positively represent and promote BHA services to outside organizations. </li>\n<li>Maintain confidentiality in all matters, including the dissemination of information regarding program development, staffing, and billing.</li>\n<li>Ability to work both independently and as a team.</li>\n<li>Communicate effectively utilizing both written and oral communication.</li>\n<li>Basic computer literacy with Microsoft/Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).</li>\n<li>Effectively utilize technology for communication and reporting needs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">BENEFITS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 45, 45)\">Full Time, Academic-Year (10-Months/195 Days)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(45, 45, 45)\">School Hours!
