Description Are you an existing Maintenance Supervisor in the hospitality industry and are ready to take the next step in your career? If so, this is the right position for you! Park Plaza Resort located in Park City, UT is now hiring for a Maintenance Manager. Park Plaza is managed by LaTour Hotels and Resorts (LHR). POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Manager manages the property’s facility and grounds maintenance program through planning, supervision of staff, adherence to established standards, and preparation of related reports. This position helps ensure maximum production, safety, quality, and consistency while protecting the company’s assets and ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for guests and employees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Maintenance Manager Initiates, implements, and manages the maintenance program based on best practices in the resort industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive maintenance. Maintains and repairs maintenance shop equipment. Ensures that maintenance staff are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to perform assigned work in a safe, timely, and cost effective manner. Communicates regularly and effectively with all staff to ensure clarity regarding expectations and a positive work environment. Assists with hiring of maintenance staff, rewards and disciplines as appropriate, and conducts performance reviews. Maintains and updates operating and training manuals. OTHER FUNCTIONS The Maintenance Manager may also: Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by Resort Management. Qualifications Education/Credentials This position requires a high school diploma or GED. EPA Certification CPO Certification (or willing to obtain) Experience This position requires 4 years of hospitality building maintenance experience. A minimum 2-3 years of supervisory or management experience is required. LHR's Core Competencies Accountability: Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to change in the workplace. Customer oriented: Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.
