Instruction is delivered in alignment with approved course outlines, learning objectives, and applicable industry standards. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Instructors bring relevant professional expertise into the learning environment and support student success by developing job-related skills and competencies. Courses may be delivered in classroom, lab, hybrid, or online formats, with instructional schedules that may include evenings and weekends. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Teach assigned courses in accordance with the approved course outline and program learning objectives. </li>\n <li>Deliver instruction that integrates current industry practices, tools, and technologies. </li>\n <li>Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and learning activities that support student engagement and skill development. </li>\n <li>Utilize a variety of instructional methods appropriate for adult learners and diverse learning styles. </li>\n <li>Maintain accurate attendance and course participation records as required by CPS and funding partners when applicable. </li>\n <li>Evaluate student progress through appropriate assessments, demonstrations, or competency-based evaluations when required by the program. </li>\n <li>Submit required documentation, including course completion records, evaluations, and reports in a timely manner. </li>\n <li>Maintain communication with CPS program staff regarding course progress, student concerns, and operational needs. </li>\n <li>Ensure classroom, lab, and training environments meet all safety standards and program requirements. </li>\n <li>Support student success by providing guidance related to industry expectations, career pathways, and workforce readiness when appropriate. </li>\n <li>Adhere to all Brookdale Community College policies, procedures, and professional conduct standards. </li>\n <li>Participate in instructor orientation, training, and program meetings as requested by CPS leadership. </li>\n <li>Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, certifications, and professional standards relevant to the course being taught. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Education & Experience Requirements</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, relevant industry certifications, licenses, or significant professional experience may substitute for formal academic credentials depending on the discipline. </li>\n <li>Demonstrated expertise and professional experience in the subject area being taught. </li>\n <li>Industry-recognized certifications or licenses may be required for certain programs (e.g., trades, healthcare, technology, or regulatory training). </li>\n <li>Previous teaching, training, or workforce development experience preferred. </li>\n <li>Experience working with adult learners or workforce training programs is desirable. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Requirements</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to effectively teach and communicate with adult learners from diverse backgrounds. </li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  </li>\n <li>Ability to translate industry knowledge into practical training and applied learning activities. </li>\n <li>Familiarity with instructional technologies, learning management systems, and digital learning tools where applicable. </li>\n <li>Commitment to maintaining a supportive, inclusive, and professional learning environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Application Documents</h2>Cover Letter, CV, Resume\n<h2>Pay Rate</h2>$49.25/hr",
