    "description": "<p><span>Our Med/Surg Department is looking for a dependable CNA to join their team! </span><br></p>\n<p><span>24 Hours per week! </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span> Hours: </span></p>\n<p>Weekdays 2PM-10PM</p>\n<p>Weekends + Holidays 6AM-6PM</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Rotating weekends &amp; Holidays! </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Position Summary:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides delegated direct nursing care to individual patients and their significant others, when appropriate. The CNA organizes the aspects of care which has been delegated to support the RN in efficiently meeting patient needs.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Education and Training Required:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate from an accredited school for Certified Nursing Assistants.</li>\n<li>Currently listed on CNA Registry in this state.</li>\n<li>BLS certification required.</li>\n<li>Meets health requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Experience:</span><br>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work in an acute care patient environment with appropriate technological support.</li>\n<li>Must be able to deal with multiple priorities in a calm manner.</li>\n<li>Requires decision-making, critical thinking and problem solving skills.</li>\n<li>Recognizes legal responsibilities and functions as specified by Nurse Practice Act.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Physical Requirements:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Physical Demands:\n<ul>\n<li>Frequently stand, walk, and sit.</li>\n<li>Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds while transferring and positioning patients and maneuvering equipment while using gait belts and transfer devices.</li>\n<li>Occasionally push and pull up to 25 pounds for transporting patients and moving equipment.</li>\n<li>Occasionally bend to the floor, squat, kneel, crouch and reach overhead to assist with patient care or retrieve equipment or supplies.</li>\n<li>Occasionally handle objects, smell, feel control knobs, switches and levers.</li>\n<li>Frequently carry objects weighing 10 pounds or less.</li>\n<li>Occasionally carry objects weighing 11 – 15 pounds. \n<ul>\n<li> Sight:\n<ul>\n<li>During a normal work shift, is able to use all sight capacities, including spatial, peripheral and depth perception, near and far vision, colors and accommodation while reviewing patient records, computer screens, gauges on patient equipment, monitors, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Cognition/Communication:\n<ul>\n<li>Continually utilizes simple reading skills, normal conversations.</li>\n<li>Occasional exposure to simpler writing skills and basic math functions.</li>\n<li>Frequently is exposed to low-volume speech with patients and telephone conversations with other members of the healthcare team, physicians and family members.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Environmental Conditions:\n<ul>\n<li>Continual exposure to an inside, patient environment with occasional unpleasant odors or noises.</li>\n<li>Occasional exposure to low light or glare conditions.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Potential Hazards:\n<ul>\n<li>Occasional exposure to infectious blood/body fluids and diseases requiring infection control practices.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Psychological, Situational, Functional Factors:\n<ul>\n<li>Flexible, able to rotate shifts, occasionally work overtime, and be on call.</li>\n<li>Able to work independently, take initiative, work closely with others, plan and direct patient care, manage conflict and/or difficult situations.</li>\n<li>Prioritize workflow while maintaining speed, accuracy and consistency.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Benefits: </p>\n<p>RAMC offers an extensive benefits package to meet the needs of our employees and families.</p>\n<p>We are committed to fostering a supportive and balanced work environment that encourages professional growth and personal well-being.
