    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Guthrie would like to announce we have partnered with Lackawanna College to sponsor select students in a two year surgical technician program and are now accepting applications. &nbsp;Limited sponsored spaces will be available for the upcoming August 2025 class. &nbsp;If you are selected and successfully complete the program you will be placed in a full time surgical technician role. &nbsp;Openings will be available across the Guthrie system in Pennsylvania.</p><p>Details of the program:</p><ul><li>Classes begin August 2026</li><li>Full tuition paid with books included</li><li>Must be accepted to Lackawanna College as well as completing pre-employment requirements with Guthrie</li><li>Must have a college science completed within the last two years.</li><li>Limited spots available</li><li>Participants must make a per diem commitment as a operating room technician while taking classes as well as a three year commitment post graduation as a surgical technician</li></ul><p>This program is for anyone not currently a surgical technician.</p><p>By applying to this requisition, you are applying to be considered for one the Guthrie sponsored spots for the upcoming Surgical Technician program at Lackawanna College.</p>",
