You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Dillon, we operate as one team. The successful candidate will be based at our <strong>Fredericton</strong> office<strong>.</strong></p>\n<p>We offer flexible work hours to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>What your day will look like</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate and complete field programs for Hazardous Materials Assessment surveys, including asbestos and lead sampling and assist in air emissions testing programs;</li>\n <li>Complete documentation of field activities, site health and safety meetings, among others in paper and digital formats (as required);</li>\n <li>Completion of activities including preparation of sampling plans, collection and compilation of field data, digital geo-referenced data, and completion of field notes;</li>\n <li>Maintain standard protocols for field data collected and reporting standards for Hazardous Materials Assessments</li>\n <li>Assist in preparation of assessment reports, including: compilation and analysis of data, microscope analysis, and sample inventory; </li>\n <li>Operate, calibrate, and maintain project specific equipment;</li>\n <li>Coordinate with laboratories, clients, subcontractors, third-party stakeholders;</li>\n <li>Providing assistance to project managers on a variety of multidisciplinary teams, with the opportunity develop into a Project Manager;</li>\n <li>Contributions to Dillon's corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Learning and Development</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development; and</li>\n <li>Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A degree and/or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Hazardous Materials Management, Environmental or related disciplines.</li>\n <li>0-2 years of experience in environmental consulting will be an asset;</li>\n <li>Ability to collect field data according to provincial and/or federal requirements;</li>\n <li>A valid driver’s license;</li>\n <li>Versatile, adaptable, and willing to conduct a variety of tasks;</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Technical knowledge of applicable regulations, standards, guidelines, best practices and monitoring protocols related to hazardous materials;</li>\n <li>Hazardous materials training;</li>\n <li>Proficient in data entry, data compilation and the management of databases;</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint);</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills; and</li>\n <li>Proficient in the writing of technical reports.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong><u>Why choose Dillon</u></strong></p>\n<p>Dillon is powered by people who are technically proficient, passionate about socially important projects, and motivated to deliver superior, tangible results.
