    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Position: </strong>Janitor</p>\n<p><strong>Department/Location: </strong>Levittown, PA</p>\n<p><strong>Availability of Position:  </strong>Immediate                           </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: </strong>Mon-Friday; flexible either 10:00 am to 2:00 pm or 2:00pm to 6:00 pm; 20 hours a week; Seasonal</p>\n<p><strong>Reporting Relationship: </strong>Day Camp Counselor</p>\n<p><strong>Salary/Grade:  </strong>$10.00 per hour; 70 Non-Exempt</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>The Salvation Army is hiring and offers truly excellent benefit package to eligible employees including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Generous paid time off every year that includes holidays, up to 3 personal days, vacation time and sick time.</li>\n <li> Employer funded Pension Plan (company contributions begin after 1 year of employment)</li>\n <li> Comprehensive health care coverage with low-cost employee premiums, co-pays and deductibles</li>\n <li> Eligibility for supplemental insurance plans including Short Term Disability, AFLAC and Voluntary Term Life</li>\n <li> Flexible Spending Accounts</li>\n <li> Eligibility for the Federal Government’s Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program</li>\n <li> Most importantly – a job with a good purpose!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Position Overview : </strong>Assist maintenance technician with janitorial duties during the day camp season. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Duties Include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Daily wipe down chairs and tables in fellowship hall</li>\n <li>Daily sweep and mop fellowship hall and classroom floors</li>\n <li>Daily dust mop gym floor</li>\n <li>Daily clean bathrooms in Fellowship Hall and restock</li>\n <li>Daily removal of trash and take to dumpster</li>\n <li>Assist with setting up rooms for day camp as needed- tables chairs special activities, etc.</li>\n <li>Assist with yard maintenance including but not limited to; clean up of debris/yard waste, trash pick up of entire property, weeding front landscaping. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the candidate will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.</em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School graduate or High School Equivalency diploma.</li>\n <li>Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Law requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check.
