This role ensures that clinical data remains \"semantic\" and usable as it moves between systems, which is critical for patient safety, clinical decision support, and national reporting.</p><p><strong>Detailed Scope of Work &amp; PWS Alignment:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Terminology Development &amp; Implementation:</strong> Provide terminology analysis, design, validation, and maintenance for the VA-DoD Federated Interagency Terminology Service (FITS) and VA SNOMED Extension.</li><li><strong>Event Set Hierarchy (ESH) Remediation:</strong> Resolve defects in the Oracle Health Millennium ESH. Implement terminology best practices to ensure data integrity across the enterprise.</li><li><strong>Standards Development Organization (SDO) Engagement:</strong> Facilitate engagement with HL7 FHIR, LOINC, and SNOMED CT. Manage submissions to ensure VA requirements are integrated into national standards.</li><li><strong>New Term Rapid Turn-around (NTRT):</strong> Manage the NTRT process for Allergy Reactants and Adverse Reactions, ensuring terms are adjudicated and deployed to production on a continuous basis.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><ul></ul>",
