The company offers a wide range of services, including production operations, mechanical and electrical work, crane operations, marine rigging, dispatching, and maintenance. Its headquarters are in Lockport, LA, and it operates across North America. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary</span>:</p>\n<p>We are seeking a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior Electrical Engineer,</span> to support Enbridge’s Engineering and Construction capital projects. <br>The Senior Electrical Engineer oversees and manages the electrical and controls design of expansion and maintenance capital projects executed by third party engineering firms to ensure compliance with Company standards and specifications and industry standards and managed to the project budget and schedule. Liaison with other functional groups within Project Execution, Operations and Shared Services to ensure project and company requirements are achieved and incorporated into the design deliverables.<br><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Specific Accountabilities:<br></span>• The Electrical Engineer must have experience in the design of large horsepower (10,000 to 30,000 HP) turbine and electrical motor driven centrifugal compressor stations, and experience in industrial systems and Hazardous Classified Areas meeting NEC requirements and knowledge of the following:<br><br></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"> Power</span></span><br>• 120/208 volt systems including lighting panels, lighting, convenience outlets.<br>• 480 volt systems including motor controls centers/motor starters, motors, power panels,<br>transformers, auto transfer switches and generators.<br>• 4160 volt systems including switchgear, motor starters, synchronous motors, circuit breakers,<br>relaying, metering.<br>• Cable and conduit sizing.<br>• Starter and overload sizing.<br>• Grounding systems.<br>• Cathodic protection systems.<br><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"> Controls</span></span><br>• Allen-Bradley or equivalent PLC base controls systems including Wonderware based operator interface and communication between multiple PLC based systems.<br>• Motor controls circuits.<br>• Valve actuators electric and pneumatic.<br>• PID loop controllers.<br>• Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD).<br><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"> Instrumentation</span></span><br>• Smart and analog transmitters including Rosemount and Honeywell.<br>• Pneumatic gauges.<br>• Pressure, differential pressure and temperature transmitters.<br>• Level gauges &amp; transmitters.<br>• RTDs and thermocouples, thermowells.<br>• Flame and gas detector systems.<br>• Oversees the development of the project scope, schedule, capital cost estimate, execution planning, risks and<br>supporting information related to assigned facility projects.<br>• Ensures that all facilities are designed in accordance with all regulations, applicable industry codes and<br>corporate standards<br>• Manages the execution of the design deliverables by a third party engineering firm against the project budget<br>and schedule<br>• Reviews and approves design deliverables for example drawings, technical reports and material listing sheets<br>• Reviews vendor materials quotations, prepares technical evaluations, and recommends to the supervisor<br>selections based on technical merit along with price and delivery. For example, turbine/compressor packages,<br>equipment vessels, buildings, pipe, valves and fittings<br>• Provide technical support during the construction phase and the commissioning phase of the project.<br>• Reviews lessons learned from past projects and incorporates recommendations into future designs<br>• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers within the team or others based upon technical expertise<br>• Support and/or lead department initiatives as required<br>• Ensures that development project scope definitions comply with all regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements through effective management and coordination of internal functional groups</li>\n</ol>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Scope/Dimensions</span>:<br>• Responsible for the successful operations of the assigned area with significant corporate financial impact.<br>• Oversees the development and/or implementation of technical solutions, ensuring efficient coordination of technical resources and with other internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Provides informal leadership to peers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Contacts (Working Relationships)</span>:<br>• Project Manager – Weekly interaction to provide updated status on progress, cost, schedule, and risk.<br>• Supervisor/Manager, Facilities Project Engineering – Daily to weekly interaction to provide project status update.<br>• External Engineering Firm – Daily interaction to provide oversight on project design activities.<br>• Operations – Weekly interaction to provide project status update and seek guidance on required desig features.<br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required:</span><br>• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering<br>• 7 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering and project management</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred:</span><br>• Professional Engineer designation<br>• Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate and manage change.<br>• Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks accordingly<br>• Ability to resolve complex issues based on depth and breadth of technical and business knowledge<br>• Awareness of interrelationships with other stakeholders both internal and external to the project team<br>• Effectively communicate technical issues and impacts to other technical and non-technical staff</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions:</span><br>Office environment<br>• Stress levels can be above normal as project work is deadline oriented, highly visible and numerous activities are conducted concurrently<br>• Overnight business trips to the field may be required, usually requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits Offered:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>401(k) matching</li>\n<li>Dental insurance</li>\n<li>Health insurance</li>\n<li>Life insurance</li>\n<li>Vision insurance</li>\n<li>Disability insurance</li>\n<li>Vacation pay for eligible employees</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Please be advised</span>, If selected, you will join Pioneer Production Services, Inc. as your employer and work at Enbridge facilities, partnering daily with Enbridge and contract team members.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">**Equal Opportunity Employer</span></p>\n<p> </p>",
