This role leads maintenance activities across multiple disciplines—including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs—ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational and guest service standards.</p>\n<p>This position provides leadership during assigned shifts, supports team development, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.</p>\n<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, repair, remodeling, and renovation activities</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure timely completion of work orders across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and painting functions</p></li>\n <li><p>Promote and enforce safety practices, policies, and procedures within the department</p></li>\n <li><p>Respond to facility emergencies, directing team members and coordinating resources as needed</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, including the National Electric Code</p></li>\n <li><p>Supervise, train, and support team members to ensure performance standards and job requirements are met</p></li>\n <li><p>Monitor quality and consistency of maintenance services to support overall guest satisfaction</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain accountability for key control, including issuance, tracking, and inventory management</p></li>\n <li><p>Prepare reports on departmental performance and operational progress as required</p></li>\n <li><p>Develop and implement improved processes, procedures, and best practices</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain comprehensive knowledge of facility systems and infrastructure across the property</p></li>\n <li><p>Coordinate team schedules and enforce attendance policies</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure all work is performed carefully to prevent damage to property or equipment</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform additional duties as assigned</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Must be 19 years of age or older</p></li>\n <li><p>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience</p></li>\n <li><p>Minimum three (3) years of facilities experience in a high-volume, complex resort or casino environment</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities</p></li>\n <li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software</p></li>\n <li><p>Working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance</p></li>\n <li><p>Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480 volts</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Journeyman certification in a related trade or equivalent experience</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Work Environment & Physical Requirements</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Work is performed in a resort and casino environment with exposure to operational and maintenance settings</p></li>\n <li><p>Requires mobility throughout the property, including mechanical rooms and guest areas</p></li>\n <li><p>May involve responding to emergencies and working in high-pressure situations</p></li>\n <li><p>Frequent standing, walking, and coordination of maintenance activities</p></li>\n <li><p>Use of tools, equipment, and standard office systems</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Schedule - Swing Shift (2nd Shift)</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Schedule varies based on business needs</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Why Join This Team?</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>A mission-driven culture dedicated to economic advancement and community impact</p></li>\n <li><p>Guided by strong NATIVE values and tribal-owned purpose</p></li>\n <li><p>Career stability and opportunities across diverse industries</p></li>\n <li><p>A collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and professional growth</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Our Commitment to Diversity</strong></h2>\n<p>Ho-Chunk, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
