Then make AIT Worldwide Logistics the next stop on your career ladder! </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>A Warehouse Specialist is responsible for processing shipments in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring operational excellence, high efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Sorting, packing, loading, and unloading freight and managing shortages/damages with a CDR report prepared.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Load and unload trucks;</li>\n <li>Pull and stage outbound goods using loading manifest;</li>\n <li>Check in/load out domestic and international freight;</li>\n <li>Put freight away in designated areas;</li>\n <li>Drive sits down forklift (electrical or propane) in a safe and efficient manner;</li>\n <li>Re-weigh freight / cargo as directed (basic math skills required);</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety procedures and policies;</li>\n <li>All other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as the business demands deem necessary;</li>\n <li>Actively participate in safety policies, activities, and implementations;</li>\n <li>Execute all Dangerous goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Contribute actively to a healthy and secure work environment by reporting unsafe/unsecure/unhealthy conditions and possible improvements.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Communicative Dutch and English</strong></li>\n <li>Previous warehouse experience;</li>\n <li>Knowledge of air freight regulations desirable;</li>\n <li>Reach / counterbalance truck experience/certification required;</li>\n <li>Detail oriented and thorough, and able to work in a fast pace, high volume environment;</li>\n <li>Strong organisational and time management skills;</li>\n <li>Work effectively as part of a team;</li>\n <li>Manual handling skills;</li>\n <li>Ability to understand and follow instructions;</li>\n <li>Basic administration skills;</li>\n <li>Able to use a computer and the main software packages completely;</li>\n <li>Able to operate and control equipment;</li>\n <li>Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated;</li>\n <li>Patient and able to remain calm in stressful / high pressure situations;</li>\n <li>Able to meet the physical demands of the job.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What AIT Can Offer You</h2>\n<p>In addition to a competitive salary and benefits, we offer great programs for our employees, for example, 5 volunteer hours a year to give back to the community in a charitable event. </p>\n<h2>About AIT Worldwide</h2>\n<p>AIT Worldwide Logistics is a global freight forwarding company headquartered in Chicago USA.
