    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>General Description:</u></strong></p><p>The primary objective of the Maintenance Electrician is to provide electrical support to the Maintenance and IT Departments. &nbsp;The Electrician will assist in maintaining all mill equipment and performing PM&rsquo;s. &nbsp;The daily activities of any maintenance personnel is subject to change due to the needs of the mill therefore, scheduled hours must be flexible.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Maintain licensure &amp; attend any necessary educations and updates</li><li>Work weekends on short notice for repairs or special projects</li><li>Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools</li><li>Reading and understanding prints/specs prior to starting a project</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work area</li><li>Communicating with the purchaser and maintenance supervisor to further support cost effective ways to manage purchasing and inventory control company wide.</li><li>Travel to all locations as needed&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications / Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Effective Written and Oral communication skills</li><li>Able to work well with minimal supervision</li><li>Ability to Prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures</li><li>2+ years relevant experience</li><li>Appropriate Licensure</li></ul><p><strong><u>Safety:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>Hard hat in designated areas of the Planer Mill</li><li>Hard hat in all areas of the Sawmills and Log Yard</li><li>Exception being &ndash; inside saw cabs, crane cabs, outside forklift machine cabs</li><li>Steel Toed footwear required in all areas</li><li>Gloves required in designated areas &ndash; per task in either mill</li><li>Hear Protection required in all areas</li><li>Exception being &ndash; inside cab of outside machine forklifts</li><li>Eye Protection required in all areas</li><li>Face Protection, when necessary, per task&nbsp;</li><li>Florescent vests required for all outside activity&nbsp;</li><li>Exception being &ndash; pedestrian travel from one building to another</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Report all near misses and unsafe acts</li><li>Pedestrian awareness at all times in the area</li><li>Follow KLC employee handbook policies &amp; procedures</li></ul><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bend, stretch &amp; twist occasionally</li><li>Moderate wrist / hand repetitions</li><li>Stand or sit for periods of time</li><li>Reaching, pushing, pulling</li><li>Lifting 5 &ndash; 50lbs</li><li>Walk on uneven ground at times</li><li>Ability to work in all weather conditions (below 0 temps to over 90&ordm;)</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
