    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Review applications to understand technical requirements and recommend appropriate products that meet or exceed technical requirements.</li>\n <li>As a technical contact, assure that product applications do not exceed design and performance specifications for the product.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Perform engineering calculations and present results including pipe properties, design verifications, flow mechanics and pipe sizing.</li>\n <li>Review industry specifications and check compliance as per project requirements.</li>\n <li>Provide engineering support for internal and external customers including Sales, Field Service, Distributors, and End Users.</li>\n <li>Prepare technical packages for tenders and organize the technical tender documents.&nbsp; This includes exceptions and clarifications to the tender specifications.</li>\n <li>Provide technical training and presentations to employees, distributors, and customers.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain technical information in product literature, assuring published parameters are commensurate with ongoing QC test results and manufacturing practices.</li>\n <li>Visit job sites to resolve technical issues with design, installation and field failures and to develop a working relationship with customers’ key technical staff.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prepare technical reports.</li>\n <li>Analyze product issues and field incidents.</li>\n <li>Develop, verify, and implement product design and manufacturing solutions to satisfy a variety of market requirements.</li>\n <li>Participate “hands on” in lab and manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Participate in product testing and qualification as per industry standards.</li>\n <li>Design and draft models and drawings for the machine shop, providing technical support as needed.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3 to 5 years of experience related to oil field and/or piping &amp; pipelines.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Relevant experience with nonmetallic/composite materials and piping.</li>\n <li>Possess technical aptitude and ability to understand engineering, design and product performance issues.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to solve practical problems.</li>\n <li>Adequate verbal, written and analytical skills with a professional and helpful demeanor.</li>\n <li>Computer literacy using Microsoft Office Suite, MathCad, Autodesk Inventor/Solid Works or similar modelling software.</li>\n <li>Available for overnight &amp; international travel</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires local travel. Work may require evening and weekend work.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science from an accredited college or university</p>",
