Gan Academy is a warm, intimate early childhood community where every child and family is valued. With small class sizes of 6 - 10 children, our educators have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and create a nurturing, play-based learning environment. We believe in fostering curiosity, creativity, and a deep sense of belonging for both children and staff. If you are a passionate, caring educator who thrives in a close-knit community, we would love to welcome you to our team!</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>Planning lessons that target specific skills and concepts, managing classroom behavior to keep all students engaged in the lesson, and providing individual support and feedback for their students.</li><li>To develop and maintain a curriculum that is fun and educational for 3-5-year-old children.</li><li>To ensure that the school is fostering an environment that is inviting and nurturing for the children.</li><li>Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments</li><li>Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times</li><li>Support children’s development and communicate with parents</li><li>Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards</li></ul><p>Skills</p><ul><li>Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods</li><li>Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms</li><li>Excellent communication and instructional skills</li><li>Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable</li><li>Experience with Teaching Strategies Gold and the Creative Curriculum not required, but is a great addition</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>ECT Qualified</li></ul><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Payment is given though a monthly salary which is calculated to be $20-25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications,</li><li>5 days off for personal care</li><li>50% off care for your own child ages 2.5-6 years old</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Benefits:</p><p></p><ul><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li></ul><p></p><p>Work Location: In person</p>",
