    "jobDescription": "<p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Job Posting End Date</b></p>06-15-2026<p style=\"text-align:left\">Please note the job posting will close on the day before the posting end date.</p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Job Summary </b></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>Under indirect supervision, oversee work performed by contractors on AEP electrical facilities.<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Job Description</b></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p><b>What you’ll do:</b></p><p><b>Essential Job Functions &amp; Tasks</b></p><ul><li>Assist with job planning, safety, crew critique, or other tasks as needed.</li><li>Inspect and accept or reject contractor work for compliance to safety, design, construction standards, and construction quality.</li><li>Assure contracted construction projects flow smoothly.</li><li>Resolve customers&#39; concerns associated with work performed by contractors.</li><li>Document construction events to protect AEP&#39;s interest from future claims.</li><li>Assure contractor invoices are accurate, complete, and reasonable.</li><li>Provide feedback concerning contractor performance to Contract Administration for use in future contracting activities.</li><li>Certify acceptability of contractors&#39; work for invoice approval and payment.</li><li>Assume other duties as required.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we’re looking for:</b></p><p>Education requirements are listed below:</p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED.</li></ul><p></p><p>Work Experience requirement listed below:</p><ul><li>Thorough knowledge of distribution work processes, procedures and safety standards.
