Our rich diversity of people and ideas makes us a stronger, more innovative organization.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>OBJECTIVES:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure financial information is presented accurately and results are issued timely</li>\n <li>Assess continued compliance with GAAP Accounting standards across the enterprise</li>\n <li>Assess key financial controls, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure compliance with SOX. </li>\n <li>Maintain and improve upon financial analysis procedures and schedules</li>\n <li>Ensure data and internal controls integrity</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in preparation of: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger entries</li>\n   <li>Monthly financial reports</li>\n   <li>Account reconciliations for complex and high-risk areas</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and organized reconciliations and work-papers to support account balances and journal entries</li>\n <li>Assess compliance with regulatory guidance (GAAP) </li>\n <li>Understand SOX compliance requirements and implement and maintain key internal controls within the accounting processes</li>\n <li>Assist in coordination of annual external audit; Compile and review requested audit materials and schedules</li>\n <li>Review, explain and understand financial results through research of variances from budget and prior year</li>\n <li>Perform ad hoc analysis of accounting transactions, operational performance, and general ledger accounts</li>\n <li>Support ad hoc operational data and analysis requests</li>\n <li>Develop understanding of the business and industry</li>\n <li>Maintain a team player and positive attitude with a willingness and desire to assist and provide support when needed</li>\n <li>Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Must be willing to work outside of normal business hours, as necessary</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Firm understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).</li>\n <li>Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, including Power Query and Pivot Table analysis.</li>\n <li>Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.</li>\n <li>Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Exhibits behaviors of honesty, commitment to goal achievement and effective relationships with colleagues.</li>\n <li>Ability to use analysis, experience, and logical methods to solve challenging problems and can incorporate new methods for continuous improvement, both individually and in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Pursues goals and objectives with energy, self-starter who takes ownership of areas of responsibility and willing to take decisive action even in the face of resistance or setbacks to push for results.</li>\n <li>Ability to lead by example, acknowledge and assume responsibility for successes and failures in terms of actions, decisions, processes, and results.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university</li>\n <li>1 to 3 years of accounting experience</li>\n <li>Experience with ERP systems is required, JD Edwards & Oracle Fusion experience preferred</li>\n <li>Public accounting experience preferred</li>\n <li>Construction or Project based industry experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>H&M Shared Services Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities</strong></p>",
