          "text": "<p>The Plant Engineer will provide engineering support and project leadership for the plant. The expectation is that this role will spend approximately 60% of the time on project related activities and 40% of the time on plant support activities. At times either activity could exceed expectation. The Plant Engineer I role will include project implementation, production and equipment improvement initiatives and support the daily operations of the plant to ensure all safety and quality goals are achieved.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Project management, project planning, project coordinator, purchasing, and supervision of contractors for various projects to assure completion on a timely basis within budget.</li><li>Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements.</li><li>Lead and assist management with appropriate training to assure regulatory compliance.</li><li>Report to the Director of Engineering with a dotted line to the Plant Manager.</li><li>Maintain appropriate communication/relationships with all employees, vendors, visitors.</li><li>Provide the necessary safety training to contractors and others as necessary.</li><li>Follow, monitor, and ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations, and policies.</li><li>Attend daily production/quality meetings.</li><li>Provide technical support for plant processes and improvements.</li><li>Observe facility operations and assist with problem solving on a regular basis.</li><li>Assist management with appropriate training to assure regulatory compliance.</li><li>Make sketches, drawings, line layouts, plans etc., and written instructions as necessary to affect equipment maintenance and repair.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Competencies:</strong>&#xa0;</p><ul><li><strong>Effective Communication</strong> - Develops and delivers communications that convey a clear&#xa0;understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.</li><li><strong>Effective Teambuilding - </strong>Active participation in, or creation of, teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.</li><li><strong>Creative and Innovative Thinking </strong>- Develops fresh ideas that provide solutions; creates new and better ways for the organization to be successful.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Education:</strong>&#xa0; BS degree in engineering or technical related area from an accredited college/university; Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical preferred</p><p><strong>Related Experience</strong>:&#xa0;Proven Engineering experience (3-5 years or more) record of technical / maintenance troubleshooting and project work.</p><p><strong>Equipment/Software Skills</strong>:&#xa0;Working knowledge in personal computers (Microsoft software necessary, Project management, Microsoft Project preferred) and basic understanding with Allen Bradley PLC. Knowledge of CMMS such as MP2 is a plus.</p><p><strong>Certifications, Licenses, Registrations</strong>: None required, any maintenance-related licenses would be a plus such as PE, ASME welding, PLCs, wastewater, etc.</p>",
