This position will include working independently on small tasks and with outside vendors on larger scale maintenance projects. This position requires a trouble shooter with good mechanical and electrical background that can handle and maintain a variety of machines in good working order. This position also requires a flexible schedule that allows for some early mornings and late afternoon work to ensure our fleet is operational and receives scheduled preventative maintenance.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">What We'll Ask of You</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Follow and promote all safety protocols.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Morning meeting with crew to list and prioritize maintenance needs.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Perform preventative maintenance and repair on all Blue Ocean Mariculture vehicles, motors, compressors, hydraulic systems, pumps, and plumbing.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Assist Lead Hands to repair any mechanical or electrical failures on the vessels.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Manage lubricants/fluids/filter inventory.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain oily waste/oily rags and schedule for disposal.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Help to execute the maintenance needs for all Blue Ocean Mariculture machinery.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with unloading and inventory of containers in the yard.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Assist in maintaining and managing an active inventory of onshore and offshore tools and replacement parts.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Other duties as assigned and needed for the Offshore team.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">What You'll Bring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Working knowledge of diesel, gas, and electric motors.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and preventative maintenance.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Working knowledge of hydraulic systems.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Working Knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Able to operate heavy machinery including forklifts, cranes, telehandlers, and large vehicles.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Strong organization skills and a working knowledge of excel and word applications.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Valid driver’s license (CDL not required)<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Clean driving abstract<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Able to pass drug screening<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Able to pass forklift/telehandler, rigger, and crane certification<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.<br></span></li>\n<li><span>Able to work weekends<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>",
