This is a multi-focus role critical to the company’s profitability and operational efficiency. As the Inventory &amp; Estimating Analyst you will be responsible for translating complex refrigeration project requirements into competitive, accurate quotes for diverse customers and ensure accuracy of product data in the ERP system as products are introduced and phased out. Additionally, you will proactively scout domestic and international suppliers to optimize our product offerings and ensure Barr remains price-competitive in a shifting global market.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Estimating &amp; Technical Quoting</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with sales team to interpret project specifications and mechanical drawings.</li>\n<li>Develop comprehensive quotes for refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and specialized components.</li>\n<li>Maintain a library of standardized quote templates to improve response times for common system configurations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ERP Data Integrity &amp; System Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct regular audits of the ERP system to ensure physical stock matches digital records.</li>\n<li>Analyze \"dead stock\" or slow-moving inventory and propose liquidation or promotional strategies.</li>\n<li>Ensure all SKU data, including technical specs and lead times, is up-to-date.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Strategic Sourcing &amp; Pricing Optimization</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify and vet new manufacturers and distributors both within the US and internationally to diversify the supply chain.</li>\n<li>Regularly benchmark our pricing against industry competitors to ensure we are positioned effectively in the market.</li>\n<li>Negotiate volume discounts and favorable terms with key vendors.</li>\n<li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Education and Experience </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience operating in and managing ERP systems</li>\n<li>Customer service or leasing experience preferred.</li>\n<li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.</li>\n<li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Duties: </span></p>\n<p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position.
