You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>How you’ll contribute&nbsp;</strong></p><p>A&nbsp;<strong>Registered Nurse (RN)&nbsp;</strong>who excels in this role:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of infection control processes within a healthcare setting</li><li>Monitor and trend healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) using risk-stratified data</li><li>Develop and implement systems to identify, investigate, report, and prevent HAIs</li><li>Review microbiology reports, including cultures and sensitivities, to determine infection origin</li><li>Collaborate with clinical staff to identify potential infection risks and occurrences</li><li>Investigate infection trends, including outbreaks or cases above established thresholds</li><li>Assist in providing education and in-service training related to infection prevention and control</li><li>Support development and continuous improvement of infection control policies and procedures</li><li>Review and update departmental policies related to infection control as needed</li><li>Communicate infection control findings and initiatives to leadership and committees</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 0.25in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 0.25in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>What&nbsp;we’re&nbsp;looking for&nbsp;</strong><br>Applicants should have a current state RN license and&nbsp;possess&nbsp;a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.&nbsp;Additional&nbsp;requirements include:&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Infection Control certification required within 2 years of hire/transfer</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Basic Life Support certification is&nbsp;required&nbsp;within&nbsp;30 days&nbsp;of hire.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">ACLS and PALS are&nbsp;required&nbsp;within six of hire.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">One year of experience preferred&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">ASLS certification preferred&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Why&nbsp;join us</strong></p><p>We believe&nbsp;that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
