Consider joining our team and work with peers who have vast industry knowledge and experience solving complex problems. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Step into Your New Role</strong>  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Kleinfelder is seeking a<strong> Senior Structural Engineer /</strong><strong>Project Manager </strong>to<strong> </strong>join our structural team and lead a diverse portfolio of clients, including local / municipal, state, federal, higher education and private industry for our New England area (Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode Island) market. <strong>This position may be based in any of the following locations:  Boston, MA, Worcester, MA,  </strong><strong>Portland or Augusta, ME or Rocky Hill, CT.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> Responsible for concept design, performing analysis and design of structures. </li>\n <li> Prepare calculations, contract drawings and specifications, and estimating costs. </li>\n <li> Review shop drawings and erection procedures. </li>\n <li> Perform construction administration duties.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, master’s degree in structural engineering or civil engineering are strongly desired. </li>\n <li> Licensed PE in the state of Massachusetts.  Additional licensing in one or more states (Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine) is preferred.  </li>\n <li>6– 7 years of related experience, 3 – 4 years project related experience and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations required. 1 – 2 years coordination/supervisory experience preferred. Must have progressive structural design experience, including experience in the engineering of facilities of medium to large industrial and commercial buildings. </li>\n <li> Proficient in design of steel, concrete, prestressed concrete, timber and/or masonry. </li>\n <li> Working knowledge of the IBC codes and structural engineering applications (SAP, ETABS, STAAD, RAM Steel)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder:</strong> Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
