    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>We are looking for a Senior Representative, Subrogation to join our team. If you have strong customer focus coupled with well-developed communication, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills, we'd like to know!<br>Reporting to the National Subrogation Unit Team Leader, the Subrogation Representative is accountable to investigate and negotiate the recovery owed to Definity from the responsible third parties. &nbsp;These types of claims will include personal and commercial property and auto losses received from claims offices across Canada.</p><p><strong>What to Expect</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Review and analyze claims for subrogation potential and determine the ultimate probable outcome of recovery<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Identify and pursue all potential responsible parties&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prepare files and documents as well as determining the amount of recovery from the claims file<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Contact third parties, third party insurers or lawyers to initiate settlement negotiations<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage subrogation related litigation matters across Canada, including file strategy and budget&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participation in legal proceedings when required<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage a large volume of claims files and other subrogation projects as needed<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Increase subrogation awareness and provide support to our claims partners across Canada&nbsp;<br><br><strong>What You Bring</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be bilingual in both written and spoken French/English<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;AMF Personal insurance license (5b) required and Commercial insurance license (5a) required.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;5+ years of claims handing experience required including subrogation, negotiation and litigation experience <br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;University degree, a 2-year college diploma or working towards your CIP designation, would be an asset<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Proficient in Word &amp; Excel&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong written and verbal communication skills<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Professional and courteous in all interactions<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to work independently and make decisions quickly when required<br><br>Salary Range: $59,300 - $109,200</p><p>High degree of proficiency with English required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>",
