Your immediate focus will be embedding with a customer/end-user focused group to drive early-lifecycle Systems Engineering: collecting Voice of the Customer (VOC), defining stakeholder needs, modeling the problem space, and deriving rigorous stakeholder requirements. This role is a hybrid position that requires at least 2 days a week at WPAFB, though additional in-office days will often be required due to in-person meetings and Secret/Top Secret work.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Primary Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Execute Requirements Decomposition in the problem space</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze Voice of the Customer (VOC)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Translate VOC into Stakeholder Needs and derive Stakeholder Requirements</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Build out the behavior of MBSE models that helps derive stakeholder requirements and clearly defines the problems for the solution space</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform requirements gap and overlap analysis against existing requirements</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Train and mentor members on requirements decomposition and MBSE modeling</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Manage requirements in JAMA Connect</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Drive the development, documentation, promotion, and enforcement of enterprise-wide systems engineering standards</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Build and maintain an MBSE Governance model for program processes, group functions, and strategic objective alignment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Develop and conduct training to ensure adoption and compliance with Systems Engineering Standards</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Execute additional systems engineering activities across the program lifecycle as needed</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">DESIRED SKILLS &amp; EXPERIENCE /</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic\">Required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">5+ years of Systems Engineering experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">3+ years Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience using SysML v1 and tools such as Cameo Enterprise Architecture</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Familiarity with proper requirements decomposition and requirements management</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of established MBSE methodologies (e.g., MagicGrid, OOSEM)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive adoption of new processes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with technical teams and government stakeholders</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Required to work at WPAFB a minimum of two days a week, other work can be remote, or in Dayton office. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic\">Preferred:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance or within the last 12 months</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, or related technical field</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">3+ years of experience performing Systems Engineering activities in DoD or defense-related programs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Familiarity with Air Force or DoD acquisition processes and systems engineering standards (e.g., MIL-STD-499C, IEEE 15288)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience in authoring technical standards, style guides, or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Familiarity with the INCOSE Guide for Writing Requirements or other industry-standard requirement quality frameworks</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Familiarity with JAMA (or other requirement management tools)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">INCOSE ASEP/CSEP certification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
