Duties include providing general and preventative care, educating patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments. Serves as a clinical resource to medical assistants, reviews and revises clinical policies and procedures per policy.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Provides primary care in the physician clinic. Duties include providing general and preventative care, conducts check-ups, treat illnesses, order lab tests and diagnostic imaging, and prescribes medicine for children and adults.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Educates patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Communicates and works with medical staff to ensure coordinated efforts for the provision of high quality medical treatment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ensures documentation in patient's medical record is completed in a timely manner.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Serves a clinical resource for medical assistants, provides in services as needed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Participates in quality improvement and utilization review activities. Assists manager with policy and procedure review and revision.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Active Participant in monthly staff meetings.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong> Education</strong>: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant Program; OR, Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.<strong>Experience</strong>: 3-5 years experience in Primary Care preferred<strong>Licenses & Certifications</strong>: Licensed Physician Assistant, Active DEA license; OR, Certified Nurse Practitioner, California Board of Registered Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Furnishing License, California Board of Registered Nursing. National Provider Identifier and Current BLS required.<strong>Required Skills & Knowledge</strong>: Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Demonstrates competence in reacting to and handling emergencies. Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy, and discipline. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing environment. Acute attention to detail. Must be able to work autonomously. Strong interpersonal skills, Bilingual a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office.</p>\n<h2>Compensation</h2>Actual compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.\n<h2>Minimum:</h2>USD $76.50\n<h2>Maximum:</h2>USD $110.45",
