Description
Houses of Hope supports Nebraska communities by empowering individuals impacted by substance use and mental health to achieve recovery and independence, build healthy relationships, and give back to their communities.
Houses of Hope is hiring a full-time behavioral health technician at our halfway houses. Position includes overnight shift (12:45pm - 9am) . Behavioral health technicians are a critical member of our multidisciplinary team and work actively and cooperatively with the clinical team. They supervise the individuals in service and support their efforts to achieve and maintain recovery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Help foster and maintain a welcoming, trauma-informed and safe environment for individuals in service.
Complete intakes and provide initial orientation to program and facility.
Administer drug/alcohol screenings and perform room and property searches.
Complete rounds to ensure compliance with program rules.
Facilitate and reinforce positive communication with individuals.
Process discharges and follow protocols if individuals relapse.
Abide by federal confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
Adhere to the agency’s organizational code of ethics.
Requirements:
CPR/First Aid required (will provide training at no cost).
Proof of valid Driver’s License and insurance is required.
Minimum age of 21
