The after-school component for elementary, middle, and high school students includes Bible study, tutoring, homework help, health/fitness/nutrition instruction, field trips, service learning opportunities, and job and college readiness activities.</span></span></span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">TITLE:</span> <span style=\"font-size: 13px\">JustLead Ministry Director</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REPORTS TO:</span> <span style=\"font-size: 13px\">A Director of Area Ministries</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">STATUS:</span> <span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Full-Time, Exempt</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">JOB SUMMARY:</span><span style=\"color: #222222\"> </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The JustLead Ministry Director provides Christian youth development and family leadership in a specific church or a faith-based organization (FBO), enabling youth to engage relationally and comprehensively in faith, learning, and health activities through Emerald Youth Foundation and partnering organizations, so they may enjoy the fullness of God, achieve developmental outcomes, and be prepared for leadership.  The JustLead Ministry Director plans and provides leadership for JustLead and family engagement programs, assists high school participants in their transition to post-secondary experiences, manages young adult relationships, supervises two age-level coordinators to direct their ministry with elementary through high school students, and helps facilitate the congregation to be a strong and active partner in all ministry initiatives. This role will integrate into the life of the neighborhood, institutions, families, and others, helping to facilitate long-term connections and relationships with young people, their families, congregations, other adults, and peers.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Engage church partners and help connect churches to young people and their families.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Recruit neighborhood youth, staff, and volunteers.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Approve Afterschool/Summer program plans; supervise Afterschool/Summer Ministry Coordinator.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Implement a Wednesday night worship ministry;<em> </em>supervise Youth Ministry Coordinator.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Develop neighborhood youth recruitment plan; direct and participate in implementation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Organize and lead participants in individual and group Christian service opportunities inside and outside the local community.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Host and attend events with participants such as camps, city-wide worship, Christian concerts and movies, and other EY activities <em>(include parents).</em></span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Organize and participate in prayer walks for the ministry site, neighborhood, and neighborhood schools.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Visit participants at school during lunch, outside of structured program times, and get to know their families.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> Grow existing and develop new neighborhood/community relationships.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px\"> Provide transportation for program and other events as needed.</span><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">De</span>dicated Christian with clear knowledge of the Gospel and a passion for the mission of Emerald Youth Foundation; connected to a church community; possesses a strong reputation for honesty, integrity, and high moral standards. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Bachelor’s degree in Ministry or related field.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Experience managing people.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">3-5 years of experience developing, refining, evaluating and/or sustaining programming.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Experience managing youth-focused faith, academic, and/or sports programs – preferably in an urban setting preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Experience in managing pastoral and congregation relationships desired.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\">Demonstrated organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks.
