    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Purpose</span><br>The responsibilities converge multifunctional and specialized card systems functions to improve service interoperation and controls. Jointly with Vendors, the role ensures that interconnections enhance performance and capabilities. The role holder works closely with cross-functional teams to fulfil business goals.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities /Tasks</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support 24/7 card system development and operations at Bank and subsidiaries.</li>\n<li>Support resolutions of L2/L3 escalations at Bank and Group entities respectively.</li>\n<li>Fine tune card system to improve user experience and services.</li>\n<li>Manage life cycle of user creation and application privileges.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with application vendors to collate logs for analysis and solutions.</li>\n<li>Maintain card systems calendars and support operations of Card systems EOD process.</li>\n<li>Evaluate performance of systems events and messages in support of service components.</li>\n<li>Test fixes, setup tools and utilities applicable to systems integration and enhancements.</li>\n<li>Develop secure Key controls and operations in fulfilment of security mandates.</li>\n<li>Maintain reliable operations on Way4 DR and branded card network services.</li>\n<li>Help develop procedures hosted in Card billing and payments systems</li>\n<li>Support the operations of automated processes on customer schedules.</li>\n<li>Evaluate performance of card events, risk classifiers and interfacing systems</li>\n<li>Couch and build technical capacities among the team.</li>\n<li>Evaluate technical performance and help prepare root cause on incidences.</li>\n<li>Jointly with other stakeholders, develop plans for log rotations and performance.</li>\n<li>Help develop card operations standards and regulatory controls /PCI-DSS</li>\n<li>Support Change transition, configurations, and performance evaluation.</li>\n<li>Maintain configurations documents on card systems and operations.</li>\n<li>Develops and tests Card APIs and associated services</li>\n<li>Manage card systems change and transition at Bank and Group entities.</li>\n<li>Implement and monitor approved audit recommendations that apply to Card Systems.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills, Knowledge and Abilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge on IT regulations, frameworks / best Practices - ISO 27001/PCI-DSS/FIPS, NIST</li>\n<li>Good Understanding of ISO 8583</li>\n<li>Working Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, PL-SQL, JAVA, C++, .NET and related fields.</li>\n<li>Working Knowledge from Card Payment schemes / Network Operations</li>\n<li>Knowledge on IT regulations, frameworks / best Practices - ISO 27001/PCI-DSS/FIPS, NIST</li>\n<li>Working Knowledge of UNIX / Linux / MS Windows Server / Solaris</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Academic Qualifications &amp; Professional Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field</li>\n<li>Training / Certification in Oracle, SQL, PL-SQL, JAVA, C++, .NET and related fields.</li>\n<li>Training /Certification in switching technology / Network and ATM Switch</li>\n<li> 6 years’ relevant experience in a similar organization</li>\n<li>Demonstrate high levels of integrity.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n</ul>",
