Follows ANSI optical standards and performs all measurements with accuracy and detail. Competently operates standard office equipment and demonstrates knowledge of scheduling and computer processing procedures, to include validating insurance eligibility prior to patient appt as well as vision billing. Responsible for the maintenance and disinfection of frames, keeping frame inventory up to date, clean and organized. Communicate with parents/guardians as needed for services being performed. Travels to all necessary schools and centers. Collects payment from patients which may include co-payments, sliding fee charges, NSF check charges, and collection payments.
