The role involves design, development, validation, supplier coordination, and release of floor console components while ensuring quality, cost, timing, and performance targets are achieved.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the design and development of Floor Console and related interior cockpit components.</li>\n <li>Create and manage 3D CAD models, engineering releases, and technical documentation.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with cross-functional teams including vehicle engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, suppliers, and validation teams.</li>\n <li>Support DFMEA, DVP&R, design validation, and issue resolution activities.</li>\n <li>Conduct manufacturing feasibility, assembly studies, benchmarking, and cost optimization initiatives.</li>\n <li>Maintain BOMs and support engineering change management throughout the product development cycle.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Automotive/Mechanical/Production Engg.</p>\n<h2>Essential skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>6–8 years of experience in automotive interior trim or cockpit component design and development.</li>\n <li>Strong experience with Floor Console, Instrument Panel, or related interior systems.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in NX or CATIA for 3D modeling and product design.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T, BOM management, and engineering release processes.</li>\n <li>Understanding of plastic molding, welding, sheet metal manufacturing, and assembly processes.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with automotive validation, durability, NVH, safety, and regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Good communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<p>6- 8 years</p>",
