The qualified candidate will be part of an exceptional team supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) mission to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System (MDS) to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends from missile attacks in all phases of flight.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p><p>Qualified candidates will provide technical support for the MDA Advanced Capability Office (AC). The MDA/AC team is focused on rapidly delivering advanced asymmetric capabilities to the Warfighter to disrupt the evolving threat.</p><p>Specifically, we are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Scheduler to join our team. &nbsp;The Scheduler will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project completion for multiple projects throughout AC. &nbsp;The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of project management principles and be proficient in using Microsoft Project.</p><p>Duties include:&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Creating and developing detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, incorporating all phases of the project lifecycle.</li><li>Maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and making adjustments as needed to reflect changes in project scope and timelines.</li><li>Analyzing project schedules to identify potential risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Preparing and presenting status reports to project stakeholders.</li><li>Working closely with project managers, team members, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure alignment of project schedules and deadlines.</li><li>Assisting in the allocation and management of project resources to ensure optimal utilization and project efficiency.</li></ul><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>MS degree and 12+ years of relevant professional experience working large, complex DoD programs or industry equivalents.<ul><li>Note: The government will consider a waiver for the MS requirement if the candidate has a BS/BA degree and 20+ years of relevant experience.</li></ul></li><li>Proven experience as a Scheduler.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Project.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate projects across multiple organizations.</li><li>Demonstrated skill in oral and written communications, developing and presenting briefings, and preparing schedule updates for technical reports.</li><li>Must have an active SECRET clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.</li><li>Must be able to work at our customer site on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.</li></ul><p>Lacking any one of these disqualifies any applicants from this job.</p><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience with highly complex schedules, requiring coordination with multiple internal and external organizations.</li><li>Working knowledge of the Missile Defense System and technology transition paths for rapidly delivering advanced capabilities to the Warfighter.</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>nou (pronounced &lsquo;new&rsquo;) Systems:</strong></p><p>Since its founding in 2012, nou Systems has built a reputation for excellence in innovative engineering, prototype development, and technical and professional services in multiple markets, including missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, and space control.
