Candidates will be considered for the appropriate level depending upon experience and qualifications.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Candidate must be located in Boston or NY City with the ability to work a hybrid work model: 2 days in office / 3 days from home</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Treaty Analyst / Sr Treaty Analyst is an analytical and operational support role within the Risk Finance department.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is designed for those seeking to develop foundational expertise in treaty reinsurance, risk financing, and insurance analytics. Reporting to the Directors of Risk Financing and supporting Senior Treaty Analysts and Treaty Managers, the Analyst assists with treaty administration, data preparation, reporting, and operational processes that support the successful execution of the organization’s reinsurance programs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Provides operational and consultative support through conducting business operations analysis (how works gets done within a functional group) and reporting and analysis. Performs research, analyzes information, presents findings, and recommends changes and/or takes actions based on various factors (e.g., data insights, regulatory changes, feedback from quality assurance reviews, market information, etc.) to solve problems and improve business outcomes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Identifies business processes to review. Performs moderately complex research by gathering data from a variety of sources, which may include operational data, metrics, competitor information, and feedback from business partners.</li>\n <li>Analyzes information to identify trends, patterns, gaps and insights using descriptive analytics. May use data visualization tools to further business insights.</li>\n <li>Builds the business case for making a change to current practices, programs or procedures.</li>\n <li>Conducts current state assessment, opportunity assessment, cost/benefit analysis, feasibility assessment, etc.</li>\n <li>Partners with stakeholders on the design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of business process changes to improve business outcomes.</li>\n <li>Owns implementation and evaluation for changes considered of moderate complexity </li>\n <li>Develops presentations and shares findings as well as recommendations.</li>\n <li>Receives, evaluates and responds to data-related inquiries by applying knowledge of data and business operations and obtaining information from various sources.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This role provides exposure to treaty structures, underwriting data, financial analysis, and reinsurance operations while building the technical and business skills necessary for advancement within Risk Finance and related disciplines.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working with AI to automate/streamline processes.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish.</li>\n <li>Solid business operations knowledge to include understanding workflows and administrative processes.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with data, draw conclusions and identify trends or issues from the data.</li>\n <li>Displays effective research, problem solving, analytical, critical thinking, influencing, relationship management, and presentation skills.</li>\n <li>Solid business operations knowledge to include understanding the function’s value chain and market conditions.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of business intelligence tools preferred.</li>\n <li>Competencies typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and \n  <ul>\n   <li>Analyst = 2+ year of relevant work experience</li>\n   <li>Senior Analyst = 5+ years of relevant experience </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p><b>Pay Philosophy:</b> The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location.
