    "description": "<p>Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates is adding to the team and in search of a Full Time Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist in Katy, TX. This position will accommodate the new PET suite located at our Memorial City office location.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Explains procedure to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test result</li>\r\n\t<li>Prepares stock solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials, calculate doses, and administers doses, under direction of Physician</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs diagnostic exams including Cardiac PET studies on patients as prescribed by physician, including treadmill supervision and starting IVs.</li>\r\n\t<li>Measures radioactivity using Geiger counters, scalers and scintillation detectors</li>\r\n\t<li>Follows radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains quality control of all equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Safeguard the privacy of patient health information</li>\r\n\t<li>Attends required meetings</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs related work as required</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be experienced and work independently in a very busy private cardiology practice setting</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be registered with ARRT or NMTCB</li>\r\n\t<li>2 years of experience is preferred in Spect and PET</li>\r\n\t<li>BLS/CPR Certification</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Schedule Details</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Full-time, employee status with benefits package</li>\r\n\t<li>4 -10-hour shifts with a rotation on Saturdays</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>About Katy, TX:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>The City of Katy is the hub of three counties - Harris, Waller and Fort Bend - and is located just 30 miles west of the bustling city of Houston.
