The Engineer’s responsibilities will broaden to include project engineering responsibilities for small to mid-size projects performed under the direct oversight of a Senior Project Engineer or Group Leader.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Mentors engineers-in-training and co-ops.</li><li>Use AutoCAD and Revit to produce structural construction documents.</li><li>Perform hand calculations and utilize structural software for design and analysis tasks.</li><li>Perform surveying and documentation of existing conditions.</li><li>Interdisciplinary coordination including participation in project team meetings.</li><li>Review key structural project decisions with Discipline Director.</li><li>Edit structural specifications.</li><li>Review submittals.</li><li>Respond to contractor Requests for Information (RFIs).</li><li>Perform site observation visits and write associated site visit reports.</li><li>Independent design and documentation of small to mid-sized projects independently.</li><li>Work with Project Engineers on larger projects and specific tasks.</li><li>Ensure the design and production efforts are completed within the project schedules.</li><li>Use Strong technical knowledge and ability to apply engineering principles to unique situations.</li><li>Review and check work performed by junior staff.</li><li>Demonstrate strong work ethic and commitment to quality in execution of project.</li><li>Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.</li></ul>",
