We want you to join our team, and help us on our mission of making the world safer, healthier and more productive.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>About the Role:</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Understand the product flow and processing systems as well as know the whereabouts of all storage areas.</li>\n <li>Identify all raw materials and finished goods.</li>\n <li>Understand material handling tasks.</li>\n <li>Complete picking tickets as required.</li>\n <li>Palletize and stage products per procedures.</li>\n <li>Perform shipping and receiving clerical tasks as required.</li>\n <li>Prepare and complete outbound orders (pick, label, build pallet, wrap).</li>\n <li>Load and unload raw materials and finished goods according to SOP’s.</li>\n <li>Perform daily maintenance and upkeep of forklift equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean work area.</li>\n <li>Perform duties safely and report all observed safety hazards to the supervisor.</li>\n <li>Be punctual and at work daily, as scheduled.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned or required by the supervisor, manager of by operational conditions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><em>An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. (sit down experience preferred) </li>\n <li>Computer Skills with experience in Microsoft Office Programs. </li>\n <li>Ability to work overtime on short notice.</li>\n <li>Basic mathematical skills for counting inventory and understanding stock levels.</li>\n <li>Skills in performing operations with units such as inches, feet, and yards. </li>\n <li>Low to moderate lifting with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and write English sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position and satisfactorily meet business demands.</li>\n <li>Ability to work the scheduled hours of 5:00am - 1:30pm M-F and overtime as needed. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent level of education preferred.</li>\n <li>Fedex & UPS small parcel experience not required but is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical/Mental Demands:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to lift, move, and handle materials, tools, and controls.  The employee is regularly required to use paper and a pen, pencil and/or keyboard to read and record data.  The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, walk or climb with legs and talk or hear.  The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must routinely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or more up to 60 pounds, and occasionally move up to 100 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The physical and mental requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.</p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><strong>Working Environment:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; however, it can be loud for periods of time while working near equipment which is in operation.  Hearing protection and safety glasses may be required.  Employee must be able to hear fork truck horn. The employee must be able to work alone on a fork truck for extended periods of time.  The employee must also be able to work with others as required.
