Join a crew that works hard, stays safe, and takes pride in every roof. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Commercial Roofer </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work with crew to complete all aspects of jobs assigned by the company, including tear-off, repairs, installation, and other jobs as assigned</span>.\n<ul>\n<li>Be prepared to learn any-and-all aspects of jobs assigned by the foreman or leadman as necessary for job completion.</li>\n<li>Be on time for all shifts and ready to go at the assigned time with all personal tools and PPE.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work safely.</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in setup and tear down of safety equipment as instructed.</li>\n<li>Abide by all job-site safety requirements, including PPE, fall protection and others.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Participate in training.</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in weekly safety meetings.</li>\n<li>Attend all companywide training events.</li>\n<li>Participate in manufacturer system-specific training.</li>\n<li>Participate in all other training as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Deliver excellent quality and customer satisfaction.</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn to perform work according to company standards.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the team for the benefit of all.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Competencies</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Skills – </span>Laborers must exhibit basic skills necessary to work in roofing.</p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Roof system installation </span>– the ability to learn necessary skills and execute them correctly<br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Attention to detail </span>– the ability to pay attention to quality and safety with a goal of installing correctly and working safely, and a willingness to make improvements<br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Language skills</span>- ability to read, analyze and interpret work-related documents<br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Safety and security</span> – ability to observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly and effectively<br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Productivity </span>– ability to work quickly and accurately to meet productivity standards<br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Cost consciousness </span>– ability to contribute to profits and revenues and conserve company resources               </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Relational Interaction– </span>Roof laborers must be able to work effectively with people.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Leadership, Management and Teamwork – </span>Roof laborers must be able to work well with others and within a company system</p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Leadership</span> – able to exert informal leadership with individuals at all levels of a company as well as customers, vendors, manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors<br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Teamwork</span> – ability to work with others to accomplish goals; balances team and individual responsibilities; gives and welcomes feedback</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment </span><br>While performing the duties of this job, the employee consistently works in outside weather conditions year-round. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat and/or cold, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud to moderately loud in the field.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Type/Expected Hours of Work </span><br>Typical hours are Monday-Friday between the hours of 6am to 5pm (typically 8–10-hour days) depending on seasonal daylight hours, weather, production demands and contract duration.
