We invite you to explore our community through these local sites.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>Examines and treats patients with breathing-related conditions, performs diagnostic testing, and collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans. Provides patient education on therapies and medication use; performs physiotherapy and related treatments. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.</p><ul><li>Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood samples using a blood gas analyzer; may perform bedside PFTs, EKGs, and tobacco-cessation education as ordered.</li><li>Delivers ordered respiratory therapies; monitors, records, and communicates patient condition and response to treatment.</li><li>Responds to codes and emergent calls; assesses patient condition and provides appropriate interventions.</li><li>Evaluates and contributes to respiratory care policies and procedures based on outcomes, research, and best practices.</li><li>Educates patients and families on illness, treatments, device use, and community resources.</li><li>Monitors, receives, stocks, and distributes respiratory supplies and medical gas cylinders; maintains storage areas and equipment readiness.</li><li>Disassembles, cleans, sterilizes, performs preventive maintenance, and calibrates respiratory equipment.</li><li>Performs all responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.</li><li>Participates in performance improvement and required education.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></span></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy</li><li><strong>License:</strong> Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in state of practice</li><li><strong>Certifications:</strong> BCLS</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What we offer&nbsp;</strong></p><p>We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
