This role requires adherence to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while maintaining the integrity of the cargo and ensuring on-time deliveries. &nbsp;</p><p>Essential Functions&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Candidates must be prepared to accommodate travel requirements involving extended periods away from home, typically lasting one week or longer.</li><li>Secure cargo based upon company policies and in the absence of company policy in a manner compliant with FMCSA regulations.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Candidates must possess experience in hauling oversize loads or demonstrate a willingness to acquire such expertise.</li><li>This position may involve the transportation of oversized cargo across all 48 contiguous states.</li><li>The position requires the physical capability to secure multiple loads daily.</li><li>Navigate the routes to reach destinations on time, considering factors like road conditions, traffic, and weather.</li><li>Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking for mechanical issues, fluid levels, tire pressure, and any potential safety concerns.
